Research
Mahanand’s research focuses on employing machine learning algorithms to detect Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological disorders. In particular, he is interested in examining structural and functional brain changes in AD. In his current work he is developing classification and feature selection procedures to identify patients with Mild Cognitive Impairment that may go on to develop AD.
