Lauren received her Bachelor in Arts in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience and a minor in Crime and Justice from the University of Michigan in 2023 and joined the BAnD Lab in May 2023. Before joining the lab, she contributed to an aging study at the University of Michigan investigating the neural mechanisms of memory using various techniques, including fMRI and fNIRS. She contributes primarily to the AABC study, an extension of the Human Connectome Project in Aging (HCP-A). The purpose of the AABC study is to investigate how different parts of the brain are connected to each other and how those connections change as we age.
