Research
Joost is a visiting researcher working on a PhD thesis on vascular contributions to neurodegeneration. This research focuses on the correlations and interactions of biomarkers with structural MRI and cognition, as well as the effects of vascular state on neurodegeneration. He has also co-authored a research publication on the effects of transcutaneous neuro-stimulation of the vagal nerve on cognition. His previous research includes high speed non-contact surface imaging of newborns and children.
