Research

Gabriele received her BS in Psychology from the University of Wuerzburg, Germany, in 2015, where she discovered her passion for Neurology. Since then, she has been studying medicine at the University of Kiel in Germany, with a year abroad in Brest, France. Her previous research was focused on the detection of early Alzheimer’s using MRI and transcranial ultrasound. Her research interests include understanding healthy and disease-driven aging processes and finding ways to make them visible using imaging technology. She is interested in using new imaging techniques and artificial intelligence in conjunction with well-established imaging modalities for every-day clinical usage.
