Research
Binyin is a neurologist since 2013 in Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He visited BAnD Lab in 2019 and 2020 as a research fellow. His research focused on multple features in structrual MRI for both aging and Alzheimer’s disease. He has authored research publications on the classification models which could help to differentiate aging effect from Alzheimer’s effect on brain atrophy. He also co-authored publications about the role of grey-white matter signal ratio in the recognition of Alzheimer’s disease and its pathological markers. Binyin’s current work aims to find vascular effect on β-amyloid pathology and further try to cluster subtypes of Alzheimer’s disease. Binyin also works as a principal investigator for several clinical trials about non-pharmachological interventions for patients with mild cognitive impairment.
